A legacy of charm and history
Our house was built around 1880, during a period of architectural expansion. In 1885, while its construction was still underway, the Goudy family acquired the property. The first owners had to part with it due to the phylloxera crisis, which devastated the region’s vineyards. Under the guidance of the Goudy family, the house was enlarged and enhanced, becoming a true haven of peace.
In front of the house was a sheepfold, while at the back of the property lay a vast vegetable garden, tended year-round by a gardener. This home, full of authenticity and warmth, remained in the Goudy family for four generations.
In 2021, we were fortunate to take over this house with its rich history and walls full of stories. According to the villagers, it has always been a home filled with joy and love, and we are committed to preserving that spirit. With the desire to maintain its former charm and unique atmosphere, we restored it to offer our guests a timeless experience, full of authenticity and serenity.
We would be delighted to welcome you and share with you this place rich in history, where every stone seems to whisper the memories of the past.
